The Longoni Nirvana 3 Ural is the third edition of one of Longoni’s classic high-end pool cue models. Part of the Luxury Line, this cue is entirely crafted from premium Ural wood, offering a deep ebony-colored appearance with excellent balance and a refined feel.
This 2025 edition features elegant Elforyn rings and genuine mother-of-pearl inlays, creating a luxurious contrast against the dark Ural wood. Ural is Longoni’s own branded wood material, made from European hornbeam, a light-colored, hard, sustainable European wood known for stability, durability, and medium-to-high density. Longoni applies an innovative deep staining treatment using alternating pressurization and depressurization techniques, allowing a black ebony-like stain to penetrate deeply into the wood. This process highlights the natural grain and gives the cue a rich, almost black appearance with depth and character.
At the heart of the cue is Longoni’s advanced VP2-S stainless steel joint system, engineered to provide exceptional precision, durability, and energy transfer. The VP2-S joint features extremely tight manufacturing tolerances that ensure perfect alignment between the butt and shaft. This version is supplied with the Longoni S20 12.8 mm shaft, part of Longoni’s Stratos laminated shaft line. The S20 shaft is made from 20 highly selected Quebec / Canadian hard rock maple slices, creating an advanced laminated structure designed for a natural, easy, and highly controlled playing experience.
Longoni describes the S20 as the first shaft in the world with a 20-slice Quebec hard rock maple structure. This innovative construction is designed to greatly reduce deflection, improve consistency, and provide excellent balance through its internal laminated design.
The S20 shaft features Longoni’s JBR2 ferrule with high-density G10 support and proprietary low-deflection technology. This front-end construction is designed to reduce cue ball deflection while improving the sound and feel of the hit.
Longoni also uses Vibes-Foam technology near the joint area of its laminated shafts. A long internal hole is filled with special foam to help compensate density, absorb vibrations, improve balance, and enhance acoustic response.
Longoni Stratos shafts are produced entirely in Italy. The wood is carefully selected, dried, stabilized, laminated, and individually checked before final labeling.
